The Faculty of Technical Education (FTE), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), has completed its internal quality assessment for the academic year 2023. The Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and Education (5-year program) has been accredited under the AUN-QA V.4 standard, an international benchmark for educational quality. The assessment results confirm that the program maintains high-quality management with a modern curriculum structure and actively supports students in developing both academic and practical skills in the fields of engineering and education.
This year’s assessment evaluated the program against eight key AUN-QA criteria, including
- Expected Learning Outcomes: The program has clearly defined, and appropriate learning outcomes aligned with the university’s vision and mission.
- Programme Structure and Content: The curriculum is comprehensive, up-to-date, and aligned with the expected learning outcomes of the program.
- Teaching and Learning Approach: The university provides students with active learning opportunities and real-world practice.
- Student Assessment: The assessment methods are fair and aligned with the learning outcomes.
- Academic Staff: Faculty members are highly qualified and undergo continuous professional development.
- Student Support Services: The university offers comprehensive support services to facilitate learning.
- Facilities and Infrastructure: The university provides state-of-the-art facilities that support teaching and learning.
- Output and Outcomes: Graduates of the program are equipped with diverse career opportunities and are monitored post-graduation for employment outcomes.
The evaluation results indicate that the program aligns effectively with the needs of both the engineering and education sectors.

The assessment occurred on July 16, 2024, in Room 52-208 at the Faculty of Technical Education building. Key stakeholders such as faculty administrators, program coordinators, faculty members, alumni, and current students were interviewed during the evaluation. The results confirm that the program meets international standards.
