Assistant Professor Dr. Panarit  Sethakul, acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Thai Welding Institute and Advisor to the Dean for Academic and International Affairs at the Faculty of Technical Education, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), represented the International Institute of Welding (IIW) at the 77th IIW Annual Assembly & International Conference held from July 7-12, 2024, in the Hellenic Republic (Greece).

During the conference, Assistant Professor Dr.Panarit  Sethakul was honored with the “IIW Attendance Recognition Award” by Dr. Luca COSTA, Chief Executive Officer of IIW. This award was presented at the IIW Members’ Meeting (IAB-MM) in recognition of his continuous participation in the international forum over the past 10 years. He is the first representative from the Thai Welding Institute to receive this prestigious award.
