During 22-23 January 2024, the KMUTNB executive team, with an invitation from The Vocational Education Development Institute (VEDI) in Laos, visited Railway Vocational Technical College, Lao-German Technical College, and the Faculty of Engineering, National University of Laos. This visit aimed to conduct a study tour and engage in discussions regarding potential avenues for further cooperation.

Professor Dr.Somrerk Chandra-ambhorn, Vice President for Research and Information Technology Development, and Asst.Prof.Dr. Pornsak Srisungsitthisunti, Director of the Thai-French Innovation Institute, expressed their interest in the Railway system. Furthermore, during the visit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pairote Stirayakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Technical Education, emphasized the team’s strong commitment to expanding cooperation between the respective institutions. This commitment underscores the importance of nurturing a mutually beneficial partnership for future development.

Overall, the visit provided a valuable opportunity to enhance mutual understanding, explore potential areas of collaboration, and lay the groundwork for significant advancements in the field of railway systems and technical education among the participating organizations.
